New this year

Don’t miss these three new opportunities for the 2007 Bulb Sale

1. Bulb Exchange for Members

If you would like some free bulbs, all you have to do is bring some bulbs from your garden to the sale.  This is how it will work.

  • Divide your garden bulbs.

  • Wash and dry them.

  • Place them in a zip lock bag with a descriptive label or note and your name.

  • Include the name, blooming time and height of the lily, if you have that information.  Include a picture of the bloom if possible.

  • You may take home the same number of bulbs as you donate.

2. Fertilizer Sale

Through our member, Bonnie Krueger, a contact was made to have fertilizer sold at our Bulb Sale.  The price of the fertilizer is $10 for 14# bags and $15 for 40# bags..  If you purchase five of the larger bags, you get a sixth one free.

You may indicate on the pre-order form the amount of fertilizer you wish to buy.  Or you may buy the amount you want from Linda on the days of the sale.  She will bring her truck loaded with the bags and will load it into your vehicle for you.

3. Plant markers and books

There will be a limited number of plant markers for you to purchase to label your plants.  And there will be a variety of garden and plant books for sale.  This collection will included some selected Year Books published by the North American Lily Society.
