The Michigan Regional Lily Society is an active affiliate of the North American Lily Society.  MRLS is  dedicated to promoting the culture of the genus Lilium among Michigan gardeners.  Each year the MRLS  sponsors lectures of interest to gardeners, maintains a lily gardens at the Detroit Zoo and at the Birmingham Congregational Church Gardens, schedules a tour of local lily gardens, conducts an annual lily show, and sells lily bulbs at a sale in October.
